I definitely would not be complaining about snow. Think of what it is going to do with the moisture content and the grass height. Sure it makes it harder to find shed but everyone in the area is going to have the same amount of difficulty as you are. The more water the better.
Just my opinion

White snow on the ground leads to white antlers on the ground. Instead of people going out and picking them up when they are brown they stay in and then the antlers stay on the ground for a year. That can be a good thing I guess.
Hopefully with the quick thaw it will leave the grasses lying down for a little bit giving us and edge on those horns. Anyhow I went out today and lost my cell phone in that snow. So I think I can agree with you that the snow sucks.
Yes the snow has put a big damper on my shed hunting but I am a hunter of game before I am a hunter of sheds and the snow will be good for moisture content making lots of good feed for the animals making great antlers for hunting season and great antlers for next years shed season. fatrooster.
i'm all about moisture, but it doesnt' keep me from being sick of seeing it by this time of year. I would prefere the moisture to come by form of rain this time of year. That snow storm a couple weeks ago didn't do the critters any good. foot and a half of snow and dropped to negative temps.
