Shuttles

Any legitimate negative feedback on the Shuttle T-locks broadheads? I have been shooting them quite a bit and they fly pretty darn straight. I had a bad experience last year with my muzzys (I like muzzys)but am looking for a more solid broadhead. I've tried the Montec as well. (like those as well, just not the fact that I can't replace blades)

What was the problem with your Muzzy? Don't know if I like the super steep "ramp" design of the T-Lock. Never shot an animal with one so I don't know. The Montec has a fairly steep blade angle and they get good penatration.

With the set-up I had last year I had to really work at getting those muzzys tuned. With the Muzzys I had some real flyers, while I put the Montec on the same shafts and it would really tighten things up...plus the fact that I hit a bull in the upper lungs with little blood and penetration. I just personally didn't have the confidence in their flight with my setup. I'm not saying the muzzys didn't perform, I know there is no magic broadhead out there, just looking for a change..These shuttles are shooting very well for me right now. I also wonder about the steep blades of the shuttles, I've heard nothing but good stuff about them so far.

I've used the Shuttle-T's the since 2005. I've seen what they can do to an elk and it's pretty wicked. A client of ours took a very nice bull with one in '05. After I saw the blood trail and wound channel, I switched. So far I've been very happy with them.

Only negative I can find is their cost.

Have yet to find a good broadhead that isn't pricey. Had a chance to see the damage on my buddies elk last season with a shuttle, most damage I've ever seen from a broadhead, if I didn't know better I would have thought it was a bullet, gaping wound channel and periferal damage.

I love the Shuttles. Easy blade replacement and tight groups from a fixed blade. I have told some of my good friends to try them and they switched as well.
