Shot Ross CrR37

I just shot the Ross CR337. I was shooting the same weight arrows but 2lbs lighter pull then my LX. I did not have my LX with me to compare immediatly but have a pretty good idea it would compare side to side. Overall impression it was a nice bow that fit my hand well while holding it, but not super great for the actual shot release when my fingers were not touching. Just a little narrow for my preference. I really hated the super harsh peak and short valley. It would cam over and stop solid so quick the arrow would bounce almost every time. I even tried being super slow on the draw but it just seemed to jump over the top every time. It seemed fairly fast but did not have a chronograph to get actual speed. The bow was smooth with no jump or vibration and it was very quiet. Overall a nice bow but for me the LX is way smoother on the draw and just as smooth and quiet on the shot. The LX grip fits me better for shooting but holding the bow the Ross feels better. I'm sticking with the LX compared to this Ross.

You need to shoot the Ross Cardiac! Don't think that it is in stores yet, however when it hits Sportsmans go shoot it and you will be putting the LX up for sale!

I've heard the Ross bows are nice
They should be the builder used to be the bow designer
for bowtech.

I have the cr334 ross and love it. No problems with it at all, very smooth bow for my shooting style. It's all about personal preference. First morning out elk hunting last year I shot a p&y bull at 49 yards, the bow was forgiving that morning. can't wait for sept. '07

I have an LX as well, you will find that it is a minimum of 10 fps faster. I was quite impressed with the Ross, especially the grip and strings. I have heard a lot of good things about the Cardiac and would like to shoot one for myself. It would have to be very impressive to get my LX out of my hands. I love that bow!
