You know maybe the state should put in a shooting range at the lake mt. area. That way it would be cheaper then paying the blm firefighters every year hundreds of thousands dollars. They could put in a range like lee kay. but with longer distances. I miss the the days of shooting at campwilliams.

Since I moved up here I have wondered with as many of people shoot out there why there isn't some type of range. We certainly need to be careful when out target shooting. I'm just afraid with all the bad press with fires and bullet holes in people homes that first someone will get hurt and second that we'll have a butload of restrictions. Hope the fire continues to miss the structures.

Some shooters need to use their heads a little too.
I've not been shooting rifles for a month and need to go. I'll prob have to head down to North Springs to get a little long(er) range shooting without the fear of burning up the country!

Don't use exploding targets and you won't have a problem....
