did you mean sheridan? i am from the west side of the bighorns. i dont want to say the town on the forum, enough competition already if you catch my drift. i know that alot of land in and around sheridan is private. good whitetail and muley quality though. what neck of the woods do you come from? i guided the thorofare last summer. went archery elk hunting so i did not guide the hunt. hope to see some good pics from you this year! i just started posting them myself. good luck.

im actually from powell and just moved to sherdain and looking for a partner to shed hunt with. it is really tough here. all private and everybodhy is so anal about shed hunting on there land. the only way to get on is pay. so i guess i have to drive back and forth over the bighorns everyweek just to shed hunt and then another 2 hour drive just to get the where i want to go.

LAST EDITED ON Feb-13-07 AT 06:34PM (MST)[p]i have a friend in sheridan. his name is steve. he shed hunts the bighorns alot and probably knows some good local areas. i can get ahold of him and find out if he is interested. by the way, since you are from powell do you know a guy named nate mcmillan? he lives over there and i used to shed hunt with him sometimes. he is crazy about the sport too. keep me posted!
