Thanks for posting DK. These sheep were spotted in Northeastern Oregon while I was on a spike elk hunt. The one ram in particular never moved his nose further than a foot from the females arse the whole time we were watching them. They didn't seem concerned by our presence at all, I expect that to change once I draw the tag...

Great pics, what would you guess the score of the larger ram ?

I have very little experience field judging sheep. The larger ram looks decent compared to others I have seen, but not exceptional. I'd like to hear what others think though, is this a shooter? Approximate score?

If it was a california bighorn it would not be a bad of a ram, and for a rocky mtn bighorn not really that good,and would not score that great ( I would guess 150 to 155) anyways, and would not make the legal critera in british columbia, but the trophy is in the eye of the beholder.
