Was out doing some chukar hunting today and a buddy of mine come across a nice 3 point shed with a 2 inch shooter. Anyone else in Idaho finding anything yet?
Ive been out a couple of times checking traps and seen a few small bucks that had only one side....only found one fresh so far and it was a spike about 8" long.
Almost that time where they start dropping left and right!

I saw a small buck yesterday with one antler here in SE Idaho. I took a picture of him but it didn't turn out that great. He is the deer on the far left.
I've been able to get a good look at the scalp of close to 100 deer in the last couple days but haven't seen any that have shed both antlers.
Here are a couple other pictures. This buck was 200-250 yards away so I'm happy with the quality of this picture. Took this picture yesterday.
Here's a picture I took three days ago. He was about 500 yards away and it was close to dark so the picture didn't turn out that great.
I've had a few friends go out and they have seen a few bucks with just one antler and one of them found a nice brown three point. So they're starting to drop 'em. Most of the sheds my friends have found have been last years, but they've been good ones! Waterfowl season is done so it's time to hit the hills again for the sheds. Hikin' for the Dream!
I have gone out again recently and seen a lot still packing but have come across the one horned bucks. I have been holding out though just to give the deer a little more time. Even though I have seen guys out looking already I still have managed to stay in the truck.
Patience: A shooter is a kicker. Am I the only one that calls it that?
