It was probably one of the funnest hunts I've ever been on...we were in big bucks, every day of the hunt. It was a muzzleloader hunt and never got any decent shots at the big boys but ended up taking a small 4 point on the last day. It was public land, unit 2...funny you say that about the satellite bulls cause we would cut some monster bull tracks on their own but never saw an elk! The elk sheds were scattered in little pockets and draws...

I've posted a pic of the shed we picked up in 2003 on the same hunt as well as one of the buck taken then as well.

Looks like you done went and scoped yourself! Ouch! At least you got a nice buck to show for it. Now you just need to make sure you don't flinch next time your squeezing the trigger!

I hate to admit it but I scoped myself twice, on 2 different bucks.....LOL....not used to those muzzleloaders!
