I had this set sprayed with velvet and is in the process of getting mounted. What do you guys think?

The taxidermist I am using is Joe Reed out of Vale Oregon. The velvet was done by an outfit in Portland Oregon.

What made you decided to spay your sheds with velvet?

I decided on the velvet because the sheds were old enough that they more than likely wouldnt hold the color and the one side needed a couple tines fixed....I think the taxi did a pretty good job all around....now I just have to wait and see the finished product!

I personally like hard horns over velvet and didn't much care for the idea you have, but after reading your reasoning and seeing the picture I kinda like the idea.
You will have to post the final product.
