For many of us shed hunting is coming to a close, but for my brother and I, it has only just begun...

Did you shed hunt in the 7000-9000 ft. elevation? If so is that normal? Do the Yellowstone elk migrate to your areas? Looks like you've got some great mature bulls in the gene pool. Also I might add a great area to live. Don't take it for granted. I grew up in the country north of Yellowstone and had to move in order to make a decent wage. There are so many roads here in Washington some people road hunt for sheds and do alright. I always enjoyed searching the wilderness for sheds with only a frame backpack to carry them out.

Thats really cool country. Are those bulls pushed by people or do they just really like the high country? There is some good genetics in those. Sweet finds!

the reason it looks like those antlers are so high up is because of the elk trying to escape from the wolves with the huge problem in wyo.

Shed hunting is a never ending quest for me too. Anytime i'm outdoors I keep an eagle eye out for an antler or two or three.....you get the picture. The grass might be tall now but you just got to look harder. I tend to find the bigger finds later in the spring and into summer when the "gold rush" has long ended.

Great finds, keep sharing I enjoy it.
