Shed dog help

I have a lab that is a great back yard shed finder, but you get him anywhere else and he doesn't even care he looks at the sheds then wanders off, he is 2 Im worried its to late to fix it, any help.

Give him a treat when he brings you an antler. Never give him a treat any other time in his life until he is a veteran as an antler dog. Real food treats work better than store bought treats. Throw a shed,make it his new toy,make him retieive short distances first,make it harder and harder to find as you progess,throw it in brush/grass ect.I use a choc lab as a shed dog,she does quite well.
