Shed and freak pictures

Here is a picture of the freak I posted the other day since no one commented on it. And the other is a set of sheds a friend picked up a couple of years ago I stained them and doing a panel mount on them thought you might like to see them. That is a 19" monitor. If you have strange or abnormal antlers to post I would like to see pictures of them.

it's hard to tell in the pic, but it's really flat...not much curve to it at all.

it was shot in Idaho in 1942. the guy who shot it is in his mid 90s, he says he thinks he MIGHT leave it to me when he's gone,, so only time will tell!

I'm new to the board, but I thought I'd throw out a freak antler I picked up this past weekend. He's just a little fork horn blacktail but he fell high from the ugly tree.

Osulogger welcome to MM that is a neat little forkie. Was it found in Oregon. I was just guessing OSU= Oregon State University? Anyways nice find.

Yes, it was found in Oregon, just east of the Willamette Valley out by my girlfriends place. She lives out in the heart of grass seed country and I found him in a patch of timber between two fields. Was a nice find considering the amount of hiking I did that day.

I should post some more of my pictures on this site, I've got a lot over on nashc, again under osulogger. I'll see what I can do here in the next couple of days, I got some that people might get a kick out of.
