This morning before my wife and I left for work, we decided that we'd BBQ for dinner tonight. I went to the store to buy a tri tip and I was shocked to see that it was ON SALE for $5.49 a pound. That is about $1.00 a pound more than it normally costs. I refuse to pay $25 for a piece of meat that I normally pay $18 for....call it principal. I decide that I'll just Q some chicken and that'll be good. I notice that there is a nice big package of boneless/skinless thighs for $9 so I bought it. Dinner time rolls around and I had cooked the chicken over red oak, as usual. I take the meat off the BBQ and bring it in the house and let everyone know that it's time to eat. My wife asks "what kind of chicken that is". I tell her that it is boneless skinless thigh meat. She asks where the chicken breast is. I say that I didnt buy any because I bought the thighs. She refused to eat it! She proceeds to tell me that she only eats boneless/skinless chicken breast. After 18 years of being with her, I had no idea she was a chicken snob. Is mine the only one?
