The July/August RAC meetings start tomorrow night in Beaver, and there are a handful of issues that may be of interest to big game hunters. The RAC meeting agenda/packet is pretty long, but the proposals you might care about include:
[ul]
[li]Military Installations Permit Program[/li]
[li]Proposed Fee Schedule FY 2015[/li]
[li]Cougar Recommendations[/li]
[li]Goat Management Plans ? Mt. Dutton and La Sal[/li]
[/ul]
IMPORTANT: At the RAC meeting in Green River on Weds., July 31, the goat management plans have been moved up on the agenda. They will be discussed after the military installations permit program and before the proposed fee schedule.
We'd like to encourage everyone ? whether you support the proposals or not ? to try and attend your local RAC meetings and share your input. You may support an idea (or oppose it) but if the RAC members don't hear from you, they won't be able to weigh your concerns in making their recommendations to the Wildlife Board.
