Shakin' in Tonopah

Driving through there tomorrow. Looks like hwy 95 is closed north of tonopah. I hate driving through California so I think we are going to stay on 395 south of Reno and hit 95 below tonopah. Only looks to be 40 minutes longer. Anyone driven this route?
 
Pretty rare to get earthquakes in Nevada. I wonder if it's related to the one in Idaho awhile back.
 
Meanwhile here in Wyoming waiting for Yellowstone to belch...all is Quiet on the Western Front...
 
When I was still flying for USN, there was a known test bed west of Fallon. You could see the crosshatches in the dirt from underground testing.

That's what I am saying you can't rock the earth like that with no consequences. Blasts like that create holes or cavities that collapse at some point.
