I bought a shaky hunter drop away arrow rest a couple of weeks ago and the fletchings of my arrows are hitting the bench thing that holds the arrow when i haven't drawn the bow back. It has ripped my fletchings and it makes my arrow wobble in the air. does anybody have and advice on to how to fix that. and has it happened to anybody else. any help would be nice thank you.

I have the same rest, but no problems. Are your arrows square with the string while the rest is in the "up" position?

Make sure the prongs on the rest are all the way up at full draw. I like it to be completely up with between 1" and 1.5" left in your draw cycle. You can check this by watching your arrow when drawing. When you notice your prong all the way up you should have only 1 to 1.5" inches left to draw. I probably confused the crap out of you but that's the best way I can explain it.

You should have plenty of clearence for your fletchings. I also shoot **** vane up. The TT is an awesome rest, so hopefully you get it all figured out.

Good luck,
IB

As the others have said, great rest. I started shooting it several weeks ago and love it. I also put the **** fletching up. You may need to adjust the rest a little higher to clear. My rest at full draw is a little higher than most because of my anchor point. Hope this helps.

THanks for all the help guys i do understand you idaho bugler and i think i am going to take it to the bowshop and get it fixed.
