I don't have security cameras for my house. I do have a mobile security system however, It's the Remington model 870 12ga with the 18" barrel feature. Great thing about it is no matter what language a person speaks the 870 is bi-lingual - When you work the action everybody understands what your doing.
Costco sells a decent 4 camera setup for around 450.00. Only 1 of the cameras is infrared though. I use one at my business and have been pleased with it. I did buy 1 additional infrared for it. Easy to set up and use.
