I wonder if anyone has ever seen this buck on the hoof and has live pictures of it? Pretty cool and unique looking buck no matter what the score. I doubt he was hard horned on the hoof like this so with velvet on him he probably didn't look as impressive. All those little points would have blended together. Cactus buck or no, I would love to have something like that on my wall. That's a great find. Got a story on it Slammy?

What species of deer is it? What state did it come from? It is hard to tell from just looking at a skull and that main frame what type of deer it may be. I'm assuming mule deer, but I'm sure we all are. Is that actually what it is?

i remember seeing this several years ago (like 7-8) in a magazine, but cant remember what one it was(hell it might of been online not sure) But I am pretty sure it is a white tail, and the guy found it dead like this if I remember right.

I'm sory, the only thing i know about this buck is that it's dead and some lucky bugger is probably displaying it proudly in his trophy room.
My guess is that is is a whitetail judging by the way it's built.
And.......it probably used to be a spike that never amounted to a hill of sh!t. lol
