Saturday ride part 2

Went back up today to get a layout for my late season bull tag. My dad and I left super early today but not early enough to catch the elk feeding. Enjoy the pics.

since the elk were bedding it turned out to be a great trip today. The elk will be thick when they migrate in novmeber but I am hoping for an archery hunt for September.










A baby bird my horse almost stepped on, well he clipped his tail feathers.



A loud cricket, not sure what type it is. a odd color for sure.

Not much for wildlife on this trip. Didn't see any muleys this time and no sheep. I Glassed the tops for sheep but it was so super hot I doubt I would see much. Plenty of elk and deer tracks though. Seen a ton of grouse

I really like that part of Wyoming although I like most all of Wyoming I think around Powell is especially interesting. Nice looking horses as well looks like it was a great day.
