So are these brothers or his daddy? Getting opinions then I will tell you how far apart they were found...Even the little kickers on the back in the same spot...

first off i will hit the similarities of the two, the back fork and kicker are very close along with the size and general growth so to speak of the antler, also similar is it appears that the brow tine is growing slightly forward on both. Also the burrs appear to be closely built and structured the same way. The front forks are a little bit different in the fact that the G4 appears to be longer and pointing more straight up.Find the horn Goose! Without any further knowledge and only given the two pictures i am going to say big daddy buck and his offspring (even a possibility of same buck depending on what conditions the old antler were in). let me know what you believe. Find the Horn Goose

Unless this is some kind of trick question, Id say for sure same pile of beans.

I would normally say same buck except for the old antler looks several years old. I'd still be tempted to say "same buck." So how far away did you find them from each other? fatrooster.

LAST EDITED ON May-31-11 AT 08:19AM (MST)[p]Could be same buck on the downhill side if they was found on the same hillside, I would say same buck, If they was found farther apart I would say same gene pool for sure.

I have a new thought TINEBROTHER go ahead and send the brown one to my house in Missoula, MT and i will tell you if i think its the same one, only send the brown though! hahaha Find the horn Goose!

I figured I would post theese up because I couldn't believe how close they looked to each other. the old 1 is from nevada the new 1 is from utah. several hundred miles apart...
