rubberless peep sight problem

My peep site has been tied in for a couple seasons. I was told that the string would stretch and it would align correctly after time. Well it seems to be getting worse, I have to twist my string so that it is straight before every shot. It is turned almost sideways, how can this be fixed?

Cabela's sells a little contraption that is essentially a nock loop with a tab that centers your peep by aligning with the nock on your arrow.

If it is turned completely sideways an option might be to put your bow on a press and give the string a half turn and see if that helps.

Every once in a while mine gets a little cockeyed too, but I can usually just let down and roll the string a little to get it back to where it should be.

If you have a press its an easy fix. A twist or two to the string and it will fix it. Or take it to a shop.

If you use a string loop. You can align the loop with the peep and that will help. Otherwise the press will fix it.
