I was pretty much against the Stimulus package before Congress until I heard there is a bunch of money going to the Gopher Tortise refuge in Florida. (that should create a lot of jobs, (not!)

Eel - Well - I ran into them a time or two down in Florida when i was serving there as a missionary - some of the folks use them as guard dogs down there! Had a couple of run-ins a time or two, but left unscathed. They were what gave me the inspiration to go after the Desert Devil Terrapin.

I never quite understood the whole Turtle hunting thing that everbody gives Roy a hard time about until I was on ebay a few nights ago and typed in hunting DVD's. The first DVD on the list was a turtle hunting video. I thought it was a joke but it wasn't. AND the guy was a power seller!! I had no idea that there were turtle hunters out there. I gotta ask Roy....have you really hunted turtles? And if so, how drunk were you??

Yes - I did draw this tag and was successful - as soon as I get the permission from the federal government (they have to clear some declassification process thingy - something about a matter of national security and the interset of science and humankind??? Whatever...) then I will be able to get my mount back and post the pics. I haven't yet posted the pics so Eel thinks I am lying about the whole hunt! HMMMPPHH! I'll show him... one day.
