Has anyone heard of any big deer being killed on this hunt?

I've heard of a few people being killed in the Round Valley/Covelo area but no big bucks.

I may have been a bit premature on that post but if I was not mistaken, the youth hunt had already happened?

Nope it starts the first weekend in December.

Yes….several have hit the dirt. Two that I shared info with here on MM have sent me photos. Sorry, but I don’t have permission to share. One young lady that was successful has her photo posted on Reagan’s Sporting Goods FB page

This was my daughter up there. Reagan’s did post her photo with permission. Awesome trip. She did great. Biggest bodied deer I have ever seen. Oh yeah two points.

Well done by the junior hunters! My son and a nephew got drawn several years back and got really nice bucks. It is truly a fun hunt.

No weather. So took a mediocre 4x3 Wednesday evening. Best buck in the unit up to then. Snowed Thursday, and then again Friday night. They probably hammered them Saturday and Sunday. Oh well. pc
