Round 2

Back in 2022 I drew AZ 35A. After a grind of a hunt & learning that desert whitetail are a completely different animal from the ones I grew up hunting back East, I ended up eating my tag & pondering for weeks what I could have done differently.
It’s now 2024 & I drew 35B this year. This go around I have a solid plan & success or failure, I know it’s going to be a great hunt.
I’m really looking forward to getting back down there & getting after them. Really cool little deer to hunt.
The day after Thanksgiving can’t get here soon enough. I have been obsessing over OnX since I found out which unit I drew.

Would love to get in on a coes hunt someday, gnarly country, mild weather, glassing intensive, and a light pack out sound like fun late in the year! Let us know how you do!

I’m really looking forward to it. I’m hoping to head down there toward the end of summer just to poke around & see how the terrain differs from 35A.
It’s going to be fun!

Terrain wise....not quite the "big mountains" as 35A, and a whole lot more roads/trails it seems. Patagonia Mts are a fun area that time of year.
