I shoot a Switchback with a Winner Choice string and the peep and string loop are rotating about 1/4-1/2 turn off of center. I thought Winners Choice strings were not supposed to twist. Whats up?
My guess is it stretched a little after breaking in. Have your peep and loop set again, you shouldn't have any more problems.
And yah, Winners Choice strings are among the best. Go figure.
All strings stretch after they've been shot about 50-100 times even winners choice. But winners choice strings hold pretty well after the initial seating because they are pre stressed. Like lien2 said reset your peep and loop or give your string a 1/2 or a full twist and you should be good to go for hundreds of shots. Once you get it set now you'll see why so many people like them.
I shoot my strings about 250 shoots before I even tune the bow. The winner?s choice string on my LX still hasn't stretched after initial 250 shots. It has gone through 1 hunting season and has shot in a few tournaments this year.
