Rockpile Museum, Gillette, WY

Been here for 16 years. took my boy to it this summer. Underrated, under the wire, etc. This place is really informationally and educationally one of the tops with it's gun collection to it's info and history of the folks that made this territory an energy capital. The Proprietor is very knowledgable.

On the subject of underrated museums in Wy. The dinosaur exibit in Thermopolis was pretty cool. Cant wait to take my boy on that trip.

Museum in Thermo

Funny, I was just there last week - took this pic out front. I took a day off from hunting deer in U-125. Never made it inside the museum tho.

I received a new Wyoming Travelers Guide yesterday and was looking through it and I seen this same picture and have been in Thermopolis a few times and have not seen this, will do next time though.
