I JUST BOUGHT A DROP AWAT REST AND HAD ARROWS MADE UP W/RIGHT HELICAL FLETCHING. I DON'T REMEMBER WHICH DIRECTION THE ODD COLORED GOES. ANY HELP?

With a drop away rest you can put the c0ck vein up or down. but you want it point in the direction that gives you the best vein clearance. But hopefully it wont matter.

I tried shooting with the **** vane down, but had to change to having it 'up' to get good clearance

Bow4Elk,

Do you have a personalized liscense plate on your truck that says Bow4Elk? I saw a truck in NM this past year with those plates and was wondering if it were you. It was in Deming I believe.

Good advice given so far. Only thing I'll add is if you're shooting a Trophy Taker (shaky hunter) rest, the manufacturer actually recommends the **** vane up for best vane clearance. Good luck and have fun.
