Pretty impressed with Wyoming and its ability to get draw results out so quickly. The website says results will be out June 21. Good luck, everyone.

I drew my first Wyoming tag last year - 24 elk - and I was equally impressed with the quality of the hunt. I am partial to Nevada because it is home, but you all have a great thing going on in Wyoming.

Cheers!

Yep I love hunting Wyoming.
I will draw a Deer tag and hope to get an Antelope tag also.
Good luck to everyone

I'm hoping to score a deer tag myself. I'm sure ready to get out looking for bucks. I have high hopes, again. One of these days I'll find a beast and get him up there!

Wyoming has it going on in their draw and hunts. No checking credit cards, accounts, or backdoor crap. Just post them date and time specific. With just a little luck I'll might have a LQ deer license. Best to all.

Hoping for a special tag if not I will head to the local maverick and buy a deer tag to hunt g or h lmao

Like I said, I'm partial to Nevada, but wouldn't it be nice to be able to hunt G or H every year? I shot for the moon and applied for 87 deer and 53 antelope with 8 points each, so my only hope is a random tag. Assuming I don't draw 87 deer, I'm realistically looking at a region G hunt next year. If not next year then I'll probably be waiting several years after to allow G to recover from the bad winter. I say all that to say this: I may end up using 12 or 13 points to draw region G when residents get to hunt it every year if they want. That's prettty awesome. You all live in a good spot. Don't get me wrong, I'll be glad to use those points, but it really puts how fortunate residents are into perspective.

Was there a specific reason you didn't use your 8 PPs and hunt G this year? There are plenty of good bucks there to hunt right now and IMHO the longer a person waits if that's where they want to go the bigger chance of another really bad winter taking it's toll.

I completely agree with you, TOPGUN. Not only am I taking the risk of another bad winter, but I also believe that we should hunt as often as possible because we aren't guaranteed another day. To answer your question, yes - I have a Dall sheep hunt for sure (booked two years ago) and possibly a moose hunt. When I draw G, I want to hunt the archery season and maybe the first week of rifle, if necessary.

We are hoping for some tags for the high country again this year. The snow made it interesting last year for sure.

It was a great hunt. I took a decent bull with my bow. The bulls were screaming and there wasn't a shortage of them.

Bring on the heart ache...Another 'not selected' will round out the 1 for 6 states (AK Moose) with multiple species applied for year...Lol!
