Results are posted for Oryx

I don't know much about Oryx but are these tags for this year or for next year. Is it hard to draw a tag if you are a non resident. Those tags cost a lot of money. Do they tast good.
 
Yes the tags are for this year and also some hunts that go into 05. Oryx meat is way better than elk!!
 
Mine is #1 unsuccesfull.........bummer but a big refund check coming home.....Red Canyon 1st and only choice I did/wanted. Good luck to the rest of ya!
 
I will shoot several in Namibia this July so I skipped out, but we did put my hunting partner in and he drew Tularosa for Jan' 15-16. I will tag along on the trip as the designated looker/packer/grunt. Any pointers for this late a hunt?
 
Squat on Rhodes, but ya might check with Uthunting or ColoradoBob or maybe predator they all have drawn some unit in the past.....

drew there myself for jan 15-16 2005. there is a guy in town that drew there a couple of years ago. he had a great hunt. they glassed then stalked to within 250 yds. shot a good mature mail w/ 35" horns. we will get together soon to go over maps, terrain, ect. i'll post what i find out.

Thanks; I'll keep a lookout for it. Several friends have said what a wonderful hunt it is down there. Will hope to do it myself one day. I know some taxidermists prefer the NM capes over African because they are heavier and well coated, and make beautiful mounts.
