Remington Model Seven Stainless Synthetic 243 Win, hard to find at this time. It is lightly used but appears like new, I would say 98+% condition. Complete with Redfield one-piece base and rings, Leupold Vari-X 3x9 Compact scope. New Butler Creek flip-up scope cover on objective end. Rifle is first generation, pre-XMark trigger, not subject to the recall. From the LO code on the barrel, it was produced in February 1994. Bore is clean and bright, patch was clean when I checked it.

Included is four (4) new boxes of Hornady Superformance 243 Win ammo, with the 95 gr SST bullets.

Perfect for lightweight mountain rifle, or Ladies/Youth firearm. 39 1/4" overall length, LOP is 13 1/8". Numbers matching receiver/bolt. Pictures show all included equipment.

$1000.00 FTF anywhere in SE Idaho. Cash, USPS Money Order, personal check (3-5 day hold). Out-of-state FFL to FFL, additional $50 for fees and shipping. No sales to California.

I don't, I only bore sighted it to see if the scope looked on. A friend needed to sell it. I'm just passing it on to someone who wants a nice package. I picked these up off gunbroker so I could give someone a complete package. I got the same gun in 6MM REM, otherwise I would keep it myself. Mine should be finished at the gunsmith after New Years

Are you just understandably excluding cali for spite?....or is there another reason ffl to ffl won’t work for you?

Yes, it's a PIA for my friend at the gun shop. He is one of the only ones here in town that has logged into the Calif DOJ to set up an account, and do their additional paperwork. Also, if you are a Calif resident and haven't maintained your training and certs to get and keep a firearms card, then there is a big delay in you being able to pick it up on your end. Not worth the hassle! :)

For CA it is more of a PIA to go FFL to FFL but you can ship it yourself to a CA FFL. Also the certs are for pistols. For a long rifle you just need an ID and pass a background check.

You sound like you know the proper procedures, but not all the FFL's there follow the rules correctly. I just went thru this recently with a rimfire rifle. CA dealer would not accept from private individual (me), even tho BATFE says you can. Said CA was more restrictive. Wasn't an issue for me, but more work for my friend here with FFL too. Took almost 6 weeks for the buyer there to take a class, update his card, and pick up from CA FFl. There's a reason that all the ads on Gunbroker, GunsAmerica, etc exclude CA sales.

Found a dozen more boxes of ammo on the shelf for $40, so got some and now have plenty to shoot. Every time I got it out to look at it, just felt so right in my hands that I decided to keep it myself. Thanks for looking, and all the comments tho!!
