Is it legal to draw out on the rifle deer tag and buy an over the counter spike elk tag? What about drawing out on a limited entry elk tag and buying an over the counter spike elk tag and hunting them in their respective seasons? I've heard of some people doing this and getting multiple animals in a single year but I wanted to know if it was legal or not.

Holy shizz... mm is riduculous on a cell phone with my fat fingers lol. I think you can only have two elk tags a year and only one may be a bull tag.

You can get a bull elk tag and a buck deer tag in the same year.

If you have a Bull Elk tag (no matter if its an LE or Gen tag) you may only then draw/buy a cow tag after that.
