Regoin G Foot Only?

I was talking to a friend of mine, and he says that you can't drive around in Region G. How does this work? It seems to me that this is very large area.....Can you only drive to a trail head? Thank you all for your help. I can't hunt in October, so Region G is one a few options left for me.

Not to be a smart ass but I think you need to look at a topo map of region G.

Actually it is true, much of the mountanous areas in that region prohibib motorized traffic beginning Oct 15. The pack trails can be used by orv's until Oct 14, then traffic is only by horse, foot, bike, etc, after Oct 15.

I think what your buddy was getting at is if you want to have a chance to kill a deer you have to get away from the truck. I think I saw 2 does from the truck while driving to trailheads this last year.
