Hunt starts on Oct. 1, and as luck would have it, a few days ago one of my horses gets sick. Vet thought it was EHV or West Nile, idiot wanted to put the horse down without even doing a blood test (severe ataxia). Second opinion...turned out to be neither, possibly a poisoning.
Good news is; horse is getting better, and the other three are fine...Bad news is; wont be getting a health certificate in time for ANY of my horses.
So here I am 2 weeks before the hunt, and the plans are a changin. Am considering renting horses (seems a lot of the good ones are booked), or wearing out a pair of Danners.
Any ideas?

Call Wan Wolfley. I've been getting horses from him for 5 years, and they've been good.

Would be a bummer to have to rent horses when you own 4 of them, but????

The biggest buck I saw killed up there last year was 1/4 mile off the road. Killed mine only 1 1/2 back.
