Reflex Grizzly

Looking hard at the Grizzly. Anyone who has shot one I'd appreciate your opinion. Thanks

It is a cast riser version of Hoyt's most popular Ultratec!

It's a great bow and should fit any need you might have. The grip it a tad thicker than an ultratec and the limbs are the Hoyt ZR200 all glass rather than the XT2000 carbon limbs. It's 3 - 5 fps slower than an ultratec.

Everything else on the bow is exactly the same, yet it costs about $400 less :)

I own a Reflex Teton from 4 years ago and it's been perfect. Hoyt provides any warrantee parts if your dealer can't get it. I asked for new bushings for my cams as I shot them out after 20,000 shots or so. They arrived the next day in the mail.

It should be a great set up if you like the feel of the grip. I'd recommend shooting it first like with any bow.

Cheers,
Pete

LAST EDITED ON Dec-07-04 AT 09:26PM (MST)[p]Thanks Pete. It's a real pain in the butt being a lefty sometimes. Usually it's most prevalent in the things I enjoy the most (bows and guns). Hopefully this one works out, it is one of the few bows offered in southpaw that has what I want and doesn't cost enough to make me single again. I'm far too ugly to be single again, besides my wife is really taking an interest in hunting. I'm thinking I'll keep her.

Another lefty, Cool! I never get to try my bows before I buy either.

If you are located in the Salt Lake area, you can come try both my Reflex and my Ultratec. The combo of the two is about what you'll get in a Grizzly.

I keep all my bows at my shop so my wife doesn't see how much I mess with them or how much stuff I put on them, LOL! :)

Give me shout if you are around and want to fling some arrows with the bows I have.

Cheers,
Pete

Thanks for the offer Pete but I'm in the extreme NE corner of California. If I'm ever in the area I'll holler. If you ever end up in my neck of the woods you do the same.

-Dan
