Noticed redfield is back at it and was wondering if anybody has any experience and or knowledge to share regarding the scopes. How's the quality and craftmanship?

LAST EDITED ON Nov-15-10 AT 06:05PM (MST)[p]I know when I was a teenager, my friend had a Redfield scope on his rifle. It seemed like the top of the line to us then. He also had a Redfield spotting scope. It was so good that I finally was able to order me one at around age 25. I am now 59 and believe it or not I am still using that same spotting scope. My friends like it so well that one of them found one just like it in a pawnshop and bought it. They even had very close serial numbers. I've had others offer to buy it. Yes, I would like to step up to a Swaroski but this one still does a great job.

REDFIELD SCOPES ARE GREAT I HAVE THE OLDER 3X9 WIDEFIELDS ON
2 RIFLES. JUST GOT A NEW 3X9 FOR MY MINI 14 SUPER CLEAR.
YOU CAN'T GO WRONG AND THEY ARE PRICED GREAT. HOPE THIS HELPS.

Hope they haven't had much warranty work on the new Leupold owned Redfields...They haven't been out that long. They are junk if so:) I'd use Leupold's warranty service as a clue....
