If you are referring to the "record book" as in Pope & Young, there is no bow weight requirement. You must, however, fall within the laws of the respective state the animal was taken in.

This is NOT true.....there is no let-off restriction for P&Y / B&C to be accepted in the records program. Anything over 65% will be accepted and entered but will have an "*" next to it.
Thanks for setting the rules straight BOHNTR. You're a plethora of knowledge. Not to change the subject and you may have already answered this but how did you do this year on your Goodale hunt?
The hunt was fun.....with no snow in the high country, the big bucks never showed. I had two shot out from under me from rifle guys....one of which did NOT know I was close to the bucks. (price I pay for hunting with my bow during a rifle hunt) I ended up with a medium buck.
