Ther was a scale in the kids room that the bear stepped on. It made two revolutions and stopped at two, so 300x2 plus 2.

They should have shot it! If it’s 600 pounds, It’ll make book for sure! Maybe they assumed it would be considered high fence and wouldn’t qualify. ?

It is a hilarious story, very Canadian. They seemed pretty chill with the whole situation. “Dad, where is dat scratching sound coming from, eh?” “Oh probably just dat bear dat I told you ‘bout, let me take a photo real quick, eh? Oh soory der bear.”
