Who makes the best rangefinder with angle compensation technology?
I have read good things about the Nikon 1000 but you cant find them anywhere.
Leupold? Bushnell? .... what do you like? Thanks for the help

I have a Leuopold and it is great. I cannot speak for the others but I do like the one I have. I believe it is an RX-III but could be wrong on the model.

Leica makes excellent rangefinders, for sure, but they don't do angle compensation yet, even in the new 1600. If you're an archer I wouldn't get that one. They'll show you the angle, but that doesn't help much in the heat of the moment. If you're a riflehunter, it wouldn't be as big of a deal.

Leupolds units aren't waterproof, and won't do archery ranges past 60 yards.

That leaves Bushnell and Nikon. Nikon makes a better rangefinder right now. Look at the new riflehunter 600 or the archer's choice max.

Check out the Nikon Rifle Hunter 1000, Cabela's has them. I like them as well as my Leupold.

I wanted the Nikon Rifle Hunter but Cabelas and everyone else say it's on backorder. I found a Leupold RX 1000 TBR on craigslist tonight. I called and offered the guy 320. On my way to pick it up! It has never been used, still in the plastic.
