Range time

Took a handful of bolt actions to the range today. Fun trip. The new model 70 300 short mag is a tac driver. At least by my standards. Could cover a four round group with a fifty cent piece at 100 yards. I'd tell you how the .270 worked out but it doesn't shoot worth a darn if you leave the bolt at home. Even warmed up the barrel on dad?s .308 Sako I haven't shot since I was 15.

LAST EDITED ON Jun-20-18 AT 00:35AM (MST)[p]Even talked Wyatt into shooting a round from the 6.5 Swede. That was all he was having. Maybe 11 is a tad young. Boy that was a right of passage when I was little but he wasn?t too impressed.

It's always a good time! I'm glad I picked up reloading or I couldn't afford to shoot as muchar they want to. My 9 year old has kinda layed claim on my 270wsm. Last time we went out he hit a milk jug at 320 yards.
