I am looking to shoot a new mechanical broadhead, and have heard a lot of good things about the rage 2 blade. I was wondering if anyone has shot it, and if it does truly shoot like a field tip. Also wondering if anyone has any pics of the entrance and exit holes. Or any other suggestions.

Hey whats up, I used them last year, my buck was 1/4ered away at 60yds and the entrance hole was a huge 4" gash, it didnt go all the way through cus it hit the off side shoulder. But he only ran 180 yards and it would have only been about 100 yards but it was getting dark and I pushed him a little bit. My cousin killed one and it had a 2" entrance and exit hole and only ran 120 yards or so, with a great blood trail I watched mine go down and didnt follow a blood trail.

I found that they do fly really close to field tips, and fly just like the practic head they give you.

I plan on useing them again.

THey were just recalled if that tells you anything. they made the blades in two different styles, one of which is recalled. if you want to shoot expandables, try G5's tekken 2.

Is this true? I knew that the Rage three blades were recalled, but havent heard anything about the two blades being recalled. Anyone?

Just looked at the web site. The three blade rage was recalled, it says right on the web site. I however am asking about the TWO BLADE not three! Has anyone heard anything about the TWO blades being recalled.

I have shot several deer with the Snyper and the Rage. I never lost a deer with either. They do fly like a fiel point and cut 50 cent to silver dollar size holes. Piston Point has come out with a new expandale that looks awsome. I have seen the devestation it does. I think it will be one of the best mechanicals on the market. The Piston Points are on back order because of high demand, so you may want to place you order now.
