Quick Spin Vanes

For those of you that have used them how do they fly and are they worth the difference in price vs. A.A.E. or Bohning vanes

Everything I've read on the Matthews forums has been negative. Not worth the money and they are not very durable.

LAST EDITED ON Oct-19-05 AT 06:26PM (MST)[p]I tested some when they first came out. The manufactuer sent me all kinds of beautiful colors with great advertisement. They flew fine, but fall apart rather quickly. I sent them back and said, "No thank you." I'd rather shoot other reputable vanes at half the cost. Just my .02

One thing I did notice when I shot them out of my Parker with a quicktune 3000 rest is the little weight would touch the rest and stretch out the plastic vane. All I ha to do is use my heat gun turned way down and it went right back to it's original shape. I since, only shoot them out of my Carrera with a drop away rest, with no contact at all.
Just my two cents...

I haven't actually shot them but a shooting partner has, his experience was, they are great when they are in perfect condition but if they get slightly out of shape they drastically change your flight. That would concern me greatly in a hunting situation.

Thanks for the input doesn't sound like to good of an idea to switch if they don't hold up
