I have a pair of LaCrosse Buckmaster, rubber boots
1) do they make your feet sweat
2) would these be good to wear on my elk hunt

I'd Have a Pair of Boots that are not Insulated/Lightly Insulated on Hand!

And I'd have a Pair that are Insulated on Hand!

I Don't know what the Average Weather Conditions are where You'll Be Hunting!

I'm not sure about those boots, but I have a pair of lacrosse mountaineers, which they no longer make. They are 13" 200 gram with rubber bottoms and leather uppers. They are great for when it's wet and cold and when the snow hits. Great for still hunting and tracking in snow. I don't think I'd pick then for lots and lots of hiking, but they're fine for moderate hiking in snowy conditions.

Seems like a lot to hike in to me. It would have to be really cold for me to want to wear those boots very far.

I have Danner Pronghorn Uninsulated and Rocky 400 grams insulated
and the LaCrosse Buckmaster. The rubber boots have a felt like lining
but no writing of insulated or not.

Another question Bess my tag hasn't made it here yet I was wanting to leave early in the morning
so I can get there at least a couple days before the hunt. I was thinking leave early have Mrs Sikora
next day it to me at motel or guide?s home
What's your thoughts

I don't think rubber boots are the thing to wear out west. If your walking out of a tree stand into a corn field. Maybe there ok. I would say have a good pair of broken boots. Where are you hunting ?

Did anyone from UT draw any cool tags this year?
It's crazy that even if your a Resident it still takes years to grab a tag
My hero Bessy is still trying for the San Juan after 20+ years

AZ tags are very hard to draw as well. I know of one Resident that it took 20+ years to draw a Antelope tag
I feel sorry for the young and new to hunting that will never draw a tag.
That is why I took this tag with 9 points the odds of drawing a early rifle tag was very low
