question on unit 15 muzzy deer hunt coming up soon

My son and i elk hunted 15 two years ago and saw a limited number of muley bucks, but they were fairly impressive. He now has a tag for the 5 day muzzleloader hunt starting Oct 26 and I was wondering if they should be anywhere close now to where they hang out in September, or do they migrate to different parts of the unit the later the season progresses? Thanks.

Guess I will answer my own question, am out here on the hunt right now and deer are freaking scarce. Seeing 50-60 elk daily and 2 or 3 doe deer. This isnt looking good. The temps are getting up in the 80's though.

Answer a no once velvet is shed patterns change. Low deer # there but some big ones every now and then. Just hunt hard and hope is about the best anyone can do in that unit
