I've seen your post of the bucks you guys took on the south fork a year or two ago.My question is this, is one of the bucks a 4x2.It looks just like one I killed on Carter Mt.two or three years ago.It looked like it had been damaged and I thought that is what caused it to only be a fork on one side but after seeing your photo I think maybe it's genetics.
 
It was a 4x2 with good mass and some years of growth.I think the guy who killed it has pics of the buck a couple of years in a row and he has always been a fork on that side.Genetics would be my guess as well
