QUADS ON NAT. FOREST

WILL BE HUNTING ON NAT. FOREST WHERE A QUAD LICENSE IS NEEDED CAN SOMEONE HELP ME WITH WETHER OR NOT THESE CAN BE PURCHASED AT A LOCAL STORE OR IS THIS THROUGH DEPARTMENT MOTOR VEHICLE(TRANSPORTATION)?

you need to pick them up at the Forest service office.

I've picked them up at a sporting goods store / gas station when I go through Laramie. My 4 wheeler is licensed in my home state of New Mexico, but I don't think that is required to get the ORV Permit in Wyoming.

thanks guys i checked with game and fish they did give me a list with over 140 agencies in the state.i appreciate the response

You can buy your ORV permit at this website http://www.usedirect.com/cdweb/

Look on the right side of the screen for the link to purchase a permit - $15 plus $3.50 shipping and handling. I got mine in the mail in about 5 days.
