Will they be talking about how they can copy Utahs Amazing conservation permit program and expo tag program? Or how they can screw the local hunters as much as possible?

I actually love Wy and hunting there. One of the greatest states for hunting!!! Keep it that way!!!

I love living in Wyoming and I don't think I will ever leave.
I want to show my support for the drone/aircraft ban.

What are the agenda items at these meetings? What topics are discussed, and is the public given a chance to comment?

They are open meetings discussing the tentative season dates and quotas for all the big game animals before the Final Regulations are voted on by the Commission and signed off in late April. It's my understanding in talking with a hunting buddy in Sheridan that the ones he attended were very open with the public being able to voice their opinions and offer suggestions.

These "season setting" meetings are required by law (Administrative Procedures Act) to bring big game hunting seasons and quotas in front of the public for comment before they go to the Commission for final approval. Generally, there are also some regulation changes to comment on and also potential future changes might be discussed, such as new license types and seasons.

Hey Jeff! I saw what you got done regarding the Type 4 cow tags when I had time and started going over things a couple days ago. Good job and more money in the till that was being lost for no reason!!!

I sure would if I lived out there since they have them close enough to where almost anyone should be able to go regardless of where they live and they also have them in the evenings for working stiffs.

TOPGUN:

There is the opportunity for anyone (residents and nonresidents) to submit comments via the WY G&F website if they are not able to attend one of the season setting meetings.

Thanks ClearCreek! I'm aware of that and have sent in comments and suggestions at times in the past. I just wish I lived out there to actually sit in on some of the actual live meetings they have for the public on this and other stuff throughout the year.
