"pronounced" longbow vs. "shallow" longbow..What's the difference

Just wondering if anyone can tell me the difference in the two and maybe how they compare to a recurve. I'm thinking of making one and want more info. The pronounced longbow kit only comes as a take down unit...Thanks, Steve
