The LATimes stated yesterday that with "37000" wolf-tag-carriers soon to be hunting wolves, a wolf slaughter will happen. The Denver POst reprinted the article on p. 2. For some reason the authors were equating the opening of general deer/elk rifle season with the number of wolf hunters.
2 questions:
1. where does the number 37000 come from
2. why would a paper like the Denver Post, with a lot of hunting folks living near, print this kind of irresponsible trash?
