Paul,

Based on your posts, and the confidence you have instilled in one of your local retail shops...I decided to go in and check out the Vortex spotting scopes.
I already have a nice Euro made spotter, but am sick of packing and babying them.
Based on what I saw, I bought the Impact. I really am amazed by it. I am excited to use it on Mount Dutton this year as I chase Elk with my Bow.
Just wanted to say thanks for spreading the word.
