Sad story. Sounds like the guy is a suspect in another shooting earlier that left four people wounded ( two critical ).

D13er- The way I heard it, she was shot in her own car. Not sure what led up to it other than he blew through a check point or something. But he filled her car with gunfire and she was murdered... She didn't go lookin for a gun fight... She didn't know he was wanted for questioning or anything... It was a terrible coincidence...

I believe the "perp" was found dead in a river this morning. Chest deep snow, t-shirt, 1 tennis shoe, blue jeans, hypothermia.

So sorry to the family of the ranger and other victims.
